Baseball tags for snack bags

After coming home from a long day at work I still had to find time to get 16 snack bags ready for my son's baseball game tomorrow evening. I had started on gloves yesterday and finished adding the baseballs today I had to wrap this up quickly so it's very simple. I used the Baseball cart and my DS to get them the size I wanted and filled the page to cut multiple images. I did a black shadow backing for the glove so the stitches in the glove stand out nicely, I also used the shadow feature for the red behind the baseball, and added black stitching to the baseball by hand with a black pen. I wanted the kids to be able to keep the scrap image so I stapled the bag and used double sided adhesive to the glove and ball to attach them to the bags.
It's simple and yet still personal and it's better than just plain ziploc baggies that they normally get. I hoping it'll make them feel special, they have a wonderful team and I think they deserve the effort, last week they got no treats and I felt so bad for them!

Precious Moments Birthday Card

Made this card escpecially for my sons grammy! I found the Precious Moments clipart on the web and immediatley thought the image would be great for her card. She love's rainbows and has a strong Christian Faith. I cut a few flowers from the HKG and I embossed then distressed and added purple inking. Colored the precious moments image and added a little extra sparkle with stickles to the halo and wings. It wasn't complete without some primaflowers, a brad and some crystals. I hope she likes it!
Happy Birthday Grammy!

Hope everyone has a Blessed Easter!

Blogoversary Candy giveaway

Go check out the blog candy Stardust Gems and Ribbon Is giving away for her 1year anniversary blogging. So wonderful of her to do such a nice and generous offer.

Book Marks

Book Marks I made with PS that will be added to the goodie Easter Basket's.
Since they are all for boys, and we all know how boys are. I laminated them with MYSTORY. I then added the red ribbon.

Easter Goodies

Instead of an Easter basket I made these three goody boxes for my son and my two nephews.

I used my crafters companion to make the purple box. Animal Kingdom cart for the bunny and the Hippity-Hop, camp out for the feet. I embossed the bunny with D'vine Swirls cuttelbug folder on the Big shot. Attached some goggly eyes and did a little chalking on the face and feet. Attached a blue cotton tail to the bunny. The grass around the box is from Plantin Schoolbook and hidden eggs are from Doodlecharm.
The box is filled with a chocolate bunny, marshmallow bunnies, and some fun dips. My son will also get 4 books from the Magic Tree House series to go with his. I am also making the boys some book marks to go with!

Easter Snack bags

I made 20 of these bags for my sons snack day at school. The topper shape is from the Storybook cart and I used Design Studio to weld the shape. The bunny and the eggs are from the Doodlecharm cart. Doodled the bunny's face and some pink chalking on the ears. Embossed the purple egg with swiss dots cuttle bug folder. The Happy Easter is computer generated and some doodling around that. I attached the topper and baggie together using my crop-a-dile for a punch and added a flowered brad. With the thought the kids could easily take the brad off and not tear the topper and still have a keepsake.

Stickles Storage

Super Easy, and a great way to store stickles or any other glitter glue. I scraplifted this idea from the cricut messageboard. I used plantin schoolbook cart for the circles that were cut on zebra print cardstock at 1" and just filled the page. The basket was a 2 pack for $1.oo what a bargain. Now my stickles stored upside down should flow out with a breeze! lol.

Poteet Strawberry Festival Time!

April isn't just Spring time or an Easter celebration. Around these parts it's also the time of year for one of the biggest Festival's in the world The Poteet Strawberry Festival. I wanted to make something a little extra special for my sons teacher. I decided to make a strawberry pendant so she could were it this weekend! The clear rhinstone was hers and I made two more. One for me and one for my mother with the black crystals! The strawberry is from the Hello Kitty cart. Of course I had to add a little bling with the rhinstones and stickles. I embossed two of the strawberries with the cuttlebug folder swiss dots. For the back of the pendant I adhered a bar pin.
Can't wait to wear mine this weekend and looking forward to some chocolate covered strawberries! Yummy!
