Altered tissue box !

My son had to have a decorated tissue box for Valentine's day at school. Couldn't be a mailbox had to be a tissue box. So this is what we came up with, and of course as always mom get's told at the last minute!

This box was not perfect, but when he got home from school on Friday the hole for the center was a bit bigger and torn on top where he and his classmates tried to stuff his valentines in it. So with that said I felt pretty good I didn't stress over it that much, at least the box did it's job, and he though it was one of the cutest boxes at school!

Wishing U

This card was for a dear friends birthday, I made it last week but didn't want to post until I was sure she had received it by mail, in case she was lurking my blog.lol

It was designed on my Gypsy. I used several differen't carts for this one Plantin Schoolbook was the base of the card as well as the two squares on the front of the card. Cupcake and U is from Hello Kitty. Wishing is from Gypsy Font, butterflies are from Tear Drop. The white doily is from the new seasonal cart Mother's Day that was cut in half to use in front and inside of card.
Added some clear rhinestones and some stickles. Paper is from a DCWV pack.
Of course it's not complete until you add some inking around edges!

Simple 3D Heart

I just love the 3D heart cut form the new Seasonal cart Love Struck.
I cut the heart at 4 inches and just punched a hole and added ribbon.
This cart makes 3D heart's so simple.

What better way to add a little Valentine festivity to your home.

With Sympathy

With sympathy card and matching envelope is from WC on page 32. Cut at I believe (if I'm remembering correctly, lol) 41/2". I hand cut a paper piece to fit the front of the card and embossed it with the Bird and Swirls cuttelbug folder which is really hard to see in the pic. I added crystal stickels to the branch and the little bird is from LL cut with patterned paper at 1". I outlined the little bird with a black marker and added a sparkly rhinestone for his eye.
Added a little white ribbon to tie the card together, put a special handwritten message inside and ready to give to my boss who just recently lost her father. Very quick and simple and she loved it!

Thank You cards!

Lot's and lots of thank you's to be mailed out! Ahhh, but I'm finally done.
I made the design with my gypsy and picked several different papers and away we cutted!

I also included a matching envelope both the card and envelope are cut from PS.

The design in the corners are from HA.

The thank you sentiment was also designed on my gypsy. Instead of cutting or using a stamped image I made my own using the cricut markers, the sentiment is from the WC cart.

I adhered the extra pieces to fill in the negative image's in all 4 corners.

I cut down an extra strip of paper and used the threading water punch on each end

Cricut Cutting Guide

Since my mom and sister-n-law are new cricuteers, I new they needed a cutting guide. So I downloaded and printed the cricut cutting guide from Above Rubies Studio. Got out my storybook laminator and starting laminating pages.

For the first time ever (after sitting on the shelf for months) used my pink Bind-it-All to punch holes and bind the pages together. I was quit scared at first, but found it's actually very easy to use.
Now that I made one for my mom and one for my sil, I have to sit down and make another for myself.

An Owl

Just a random pick I took during the holidays. I have seen a ton of owls this year perched up on the trees in front of my home and have been meaning to take a picture and I finally got to. This was the best shot I could get, as I was trying to sneak up a little closer for a better shot, my son ran out of the house yelling "MOM" and he flew away.

My new fellow Cricuteers!

We had lots of crafty gifts during Christmas!

My SIL got the big RED E from my parents along with many other accessories to go with.

My mom got a BLUE E from my dad with a little help from me and my sil. Who also got lots of accessories from all of us. The hard part was trying to keep my mom from buying one for herself she had picked up a Black one while we were shopping during the big Black Friday event but luckily put it back saying " she would probably regret not getting one, but if she needed something she knew how to find me". lol
Even caught her a few times browsing the internet for one!
So what better gift for my dad to give!

Now there my partners in crime!LOL
